WHAT ARE LIFE POINTE SERVICES LIKE?
We may be biased but, we believe that Life Pointe should offer the best hour and fifteen minutes of your week. The services are challenging, creative, interactive, meaningful, and spiritually engaging.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY KIDS?
Safe, clean, fun, educational, high quality kids program. Kids Life is a significant experience for children ages 0-12.
WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE GO TO LIFE POINTE?
Life Pointe is one of the most diverse crowds in town with upwards of 40 nationalities present on any given Sunday. Every background. Every age. Every socio-economic level. Its the kind of place heaven will be. Really, Life Pointe is a faith community for people like you. With open arms, you’ll be received and welcomed.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Shorts, jeans, whatever. Don’t worry about what you wear, just enjoy your experience at Life Pointe.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC IS AT LIFE POINTE?
We love good music. We’re artistically expressive. We turn up the volume. Our musical influences range from artists like U2, Cold Play, Mute Math, Hillsong United, David Crowder Band. If you listen, you might hear a latin, soul, funk influence. Our worship and creative arts pastor is also the lead for The Saturn Project. Another member of the band recently left touring with Salvador. We love good music and hold nothing back.
DOES LIFE POINTE HAVE MIDWEEK SERVICES?
Yes. But, not in the traditional sense. We meet in homes, coffee shops, and workplaces in groups of 12 to 18 people. Some groups have childcare. These groups are called Life Groups. The groups foster community, friendship, spiritual growth, and pastoral care.
WHAT ARE THE MESSAGES LIKE?
Engaging. Honest. Creative. Slightly irreverent. Gospel focused. We believe that church should be enjoyable, engaging, and deeply spiritual.
WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS LIFE POINTE?
We are an interdenominational church with people from all backgrounds (no church affiliation, Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, etc...). For global connection, missions, and covering, we are affiliated with the Church of God, a 6 million member worldwide fellowship.
WHY DOES LIFE POINTE ADVERTISE?
Why not? America spends more money advertising than the GDP of many of the world’s nations. That marketing promotes everything from Q45s to Q-Tips. So, we are definitely going to promote Christ. Our goal is to promote Christ and community via Life Pointe in creative ways.
We want to be known throughout South Miami-Dade as an awesome place where Christ can be found and His followers and seekers can be relationally engaged.
